The ride from Huaraz
to Casma crosses the Cordillera Negro. The 15,000 foot Cordillera Negro
is impressive in its own right, but it is the views across to the snowcapped
peaks of the Cordillera Blanco that really makes the climb out of the Callejon
so amazing.
